How to deactivate Apple Intelligence on your iPhone, iPad and Mac


Apple has released new software updates on Monday, including iOS 18.3, which automatically opt for users in Apple Intelligence, at least for new devices.

Unlike what the technological industry seems to think or want to believe, not everyone wants functionality of generative generative for default on their devices. You may want to turn off the new artificial intelligence features because you are worried about the impact of the artificial intelligence industry on the environment or some of the political opinions of the best actors in the sector, or do not think it works very well at this moment – something that something that So far it has been shown true with Apple Intelligence, so much so that there is an entire Subddit dedicated to its failures.

We are here to help you turn off Apple Intelligence from your devices, a process that should be the same for iPhone, iPad and Mac – and it is relatively simple.

Go to Settings on iOS, or System settings On Mac, then touch or click on Apple intelligence.

On Mac, if it is turned on, turn it off by clicking on the AIR. You may also want to turn off Siri here too.

You will have to confirm that you want to stop the use of Apple Intelligence in a dialog that will open once you click on the self -employed.

On iOS, when you open the Settings apps, scroll down to Apple Intelligence and Siri and touches the agent to turn it off. You can also turn off Siri here, which we suggest for reasons of privacy and security, in particular relating to Siri on the lock screen.

It is worth noting that Apple has designed its artificial intelligence features to be privacy oriented, with a system and infrastructure that the company calls the private cloud computer. In practice, this means that no personal data ever touches Apple intelligence servers.
