We are excited to announce that Kisson Lin, founder and CEO of Tanka, will join us in Techcrunch Sessions: Ai for a provocative-and instructive-and-called “your next co-founder will be ai”. It is among the many excellent speakers who join the event on June 5 at the Zellerbach Hall of the UC Berkeley, and there is still a lot of time to register to get the place at the table to learn from their experience.
If you do not already know Lin, his company feeds an artificial intelligence messenger with long-term memory that self-appreciate and evolves with the teams. Before founding Tanka, Lin worked in several technological giants, including Meta, where it was located in Singapore and Tiktok, where from Beijing contributed to guiding the e-commerce monetization strategies and announcements.
He is also a repeated entrepreneur, having previously co-founded at the Mindverse, where as coo of the company, he helped developed products, including Me.bot, an app to take notes with memory features and Mindos, an operating system for artificial intelligence agents.
In fact, Lin – who achieved a master’s degree in Data Sciences and Corporate Statistics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong – built an impressive career for the intersection of AI, memory systems and team collaboration tools. A self -hidden “passionate about longtime neuroscience and amateur science fiction writer”, is particularly fascinated by the way in which the memory model intelligence, a passion that directly informs the tanka approach to the AI.
During Techcrunch sessions: Ai, Lin will discuss how Tanka’s memory technology can make teams much more efficient, a model that has powerful implications for solo founders who want to compete with larger organizations. (From its beta launch in October 2024, Tanka says that users have already spared the equivalent of 111 working days through the intelligent responses generated by the platform.)
But it will also speak in a broader way than some of the tools and processes that are now making it possible for the Solopreneurs to build large companies without enormous teams, and also without excessive quantity of risk funding.
The interview is part of our broader program with the main artificial intelligence leaders, including the anthropic co-founder Jared Kaplan, the co-founder of Databrks and the Stoic Professor Ion of UC Berkeley Ion Stoica and Deepmind Senior Product Manager Logan Kilpatrick.
