Tiktok is launching his first function of Ai Da Image to Video, he announced the company Tuesday. The new functionality is called “Tiktok Ai Alive” and allows users to transform static photos into video inside TikTok’s stories.
The functionality is accessible only through the camera of Tiktok’s history and uses to to create short -form videos with “movements, atmospheres and creative effects”, says Tiktok.
For example, if your static photo presents a sky, the clouds and the ocean, Tiktok could transform the photo into a video in which the sky gradually moves the shades, the clouds begin to drift and you feel the sound of the waves that crashes. Or, you could animate a group selfie that highlights gestures and expressions.
The launch of the new video image features comes a few years after Tiktok has introduced a generator of Ai Text-to-IMAGE IN-APP. While both Instagram and Snapchat also offer artificial intelligence features from text to the image for creators, Tiktok is now taking a further step forward offering its users the opportunity to create videos from the images. It is worth noting that Snapchat said it will soon allow creators to generate videos from images.
Ai Alive’s stories will have a label generated by the AI to notify the users that the content was created with the IA. In addition, this content will have metadati C2PA incorporated, which is a technical standard that helps others to identify that the video is generated by the AI, even if it is downloaded and shared as well as Tiktok.
“We are always building thinking about security and the same goes for our artificial intelligence innovations,” said Tiktok in a blog post. “Since this technology allows new forms of creative expression, it undergoes multiple trusted and security checks to protect our community. To help prevent people from creating content that violates our policies, the moderation technology examines the loaded photo and the prompt of the artificial intelligence generation and the video to the Alive before it is shown to the Creator.”
Tiktok notes that people can report videos that think that they break the rules of the app and that the app leads a final security control once a creator shares a story to the Alive.
Creators can create a video to the Alive by opening the camera camera and touching the Blue Plus button at the top of the incoming mail page or the profile page. From there, you can choose a photo from your story album. You will then see the icon to the Alive on the right side toolbar on the edge of the photo.
